Greetings from the Club!
We are very excited to announce our new method of communicating with you!
This is the first edition of our electronic newsletter. We searched for the best way to send out the golf club’s information and keep our members and community residents informed of the many happenings at the club and we are happy to share this electronic newsletter with you.
First let me share with you the process of you receiving this newsletter. We have about 2,000 email addresses in our database and as long as we have your email address you will be getting an email from enewsletter@rsfgc.com each month, you just need to click on the link and you are ready to start enjoying our newsletter interactively! Regardless of the type of electronic device (smartphone, tablet, laptop or any other electronic device) you open the link with, the newsletter will format to the appropriate size and you are ready to start enjoying our newsletter anywhere.
One of the best features is that this newsletter is interactive, you can go anywhere in the newsletter without having to flip thru page after page like many PDF versions. Another great feature is the ability for the club to put in video clips anywhere within the newsletter such as short golf instructional videos from Scott Johnson or Derek Lane, or some footage from any of our great events!
We will also be adding a button on several articles or sections to get feedback from you, we want to hear from you what you would like to see more of or hear your opinion on the many events, articles or happenings around your club.
We will still print a few Divots and have them available here at the club for you in case you need to feel actual paper when you read. We hope you enjoy this great new way of keeping up to date on the many happenings around your club, we would like to hear your thoughts and comments, let us know either via email or once the feedback buttons are added to the newsletter what you think.
Please make sure we have your email address on file so we can get this new and exciting electronic newsletter to you, we definitely would like to send it to as many addresses as you want us to, call Kristin Roberts at 756-1182 or kroberts@rsfgc.com to add any email addresses you would like to add or to make sure we have your correct email address.
I am happy to welcome our new Executive Chef, Joey Rojas to RSFGC! Joey comes to us from Mesa Verde Country Club in Orange County where he worked the last two years; previously he worked at the Surf and Sand Hotel in Laguna Beach. We will announce a Welcome Reception for Joey and his family in a few days; we look forward to seeing him at the Club around September 19th.
